Some of the most notable sponsors of this year’s pride included T-Mobile, TD Bank, Delta, Reyka Vodka, Vitamin Water, Diet Coke, Kiehl’s, Bud Light, Facebook, and Lift. These figures, along with Grand Marshals Celia Chung, Jazz Jennings, and Subhi Nahas led over 30,000 marchers with the theme “Equality Needs You” through a roaring card. In addition to our previous report that White House hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton local politicians like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Congressman Jerrold Nadler, NYC Mayor Bill Deblasio, Senator Chuck Schumer, and Councilmember Corey Johnson came out to show their continued support for the LGBTQ community. New Yorkers came out of the woodwork to celebrate Pride in New York City this year.
